Tea improves mood of respondents in Scottish poll

21st June 2021
A recent poll conducted in Scotland has found multiple positive impacts from drinking a humble cuppa.

The Courier reports that a poll conducted for International Tea Day found that 77 per cent of people in Scotland say drinking tea helps to improve their mood, while 52 per cent claim it keeps them calm.

Almost half of respondents were found to have the same tea-drinking habits as their parents. The research goes on to confirm that the shade of tea isn't that important when it comes to health benefits, as milk is typically broken down by the body separately.
