Tea can help reduce risk of developing diabetes
20th September 2022
The Guardian has reported on a Chinese study suggesting regular consumption of tea can reduce the risk of developing diabetes.Chinese academics concluded that consuming four or more cups of tea daily could lower the risk by 17% over 10 years. They suggested drinking black, green or oolong teas.
Although the study did not include the use of milk, the academics involved believe this would likely have a further beneficial effect - with previous studies suggesting dairy products can have an anti-diabetic effect.
