28th January 2017
Yet another study has outlined potential health benefits associated with coffee consumption. Researchers at Stanford University have published a study in Nature Medicine, suggesting that caffeine may help us fight inflammation (and multiple other diseases as a result) as our bodies age.Blood samples were taken from around 100 people, and research concluded that older participants who drunk coffee regularly tended to have lower inflammation. Another study is currently being conducted which will increase the sample size to 1000 people to help provide further insight.
