Review suggests regular coffee drinking is not a health risk

25th July 2020
A new review published in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that drinking coffee frequently, such as five times per day, does not present any health risk, and may actually help reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

The review looked at just under 100 different studies to draw its conclusions, finding that coffee drinkers typically had a lower risk of suffering from problems including obesity, cardiovascular disease, liver diseases and various types of cancer.
