Coffee Health Benefits

A recent article by the Guardian has highlighted apparent health benefits that may be obtained through drinking coffee on a regular basis.

Studies conducted by a leading US health organisation suggest that drinking 3 to 5 cups of coffee a day does no harm and can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

The Guardian also go on to mention how there is evidence that coffee drinking can reduce the risk of Parkinson’s disease and may even reduce the risk of certain types of cancer.

Whilst research in the area is an ongoing process, it’s great news to see coffee being associated with potential health benefits.
