Coffee drinkers may have lower risk of early death

15th June 2022
The Guardian reports that a study in China has found that people who consumed moderate amounts of coffee daily, whether with sugar or not, had a lower risk of death over a seven-year period compared to those who did not.

Whilst the study did rely on self-reporting, so may be subject to some inaccuracies, it was based on a very large number of participants - from more than 171,000 participants of the UK BioBank.
